What are Cookies and Session Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer, which allow websites to remember things they need to know.
Cookies come in two flavours: Persistent Cookies, which are stored on your computer until a certain date; and Session Cookies, which are stored until you close your browser.
In order to access certain features of the "B Company - Humberside & South Yorkshire ACF" website, and all the other websites related to it (detachment sites etc.), you will need to have Session Cookies enabled on your browser.
What information will be stored
Only information required to enable the websites to function correctly will be stored on your computer. This includes:
- Information which tells your browser which sub-menu (if any) you have open, so that it will be open if you change to another page
- Several bits of information enabling you to use the Forum
- Several bits of information enabling you to log in to the website
All this information is stored as SESSION COOKIES and is removed whenever you close your browser.
What if I don't enable SESSION COOKIES
If you do not enable session cookies on your browser, certain features of the websites will be unavailable to you.
